The problem
Exterior paint fails fast when the surface isn't prepared properly.
Paint applied over unprimed render, poorly cleaned masonry, or damp walls doesn't bond. It blisters, peels, and fails inside two years. The prep is where the job is — the painting is straightforward once the surface is right.
This is particularly true for rendered properties across Middlesex. White-rendered houses look sharp when the paint is fresh and well-maintained — they look neglected when the paint has failed and the render is staining through.
The Hancock approach
Prepare properly. Specify the right system. Paint it once.
We clean and prepare the surface, treat any damp or staining, prime where required, and apply the right exterior masonry paint system for the substrate and aspect. Masonry paint, silicone-based renders, limewash on period properties — the system is chosen for the wall, not the other way around.
We also paint rendered outbuildings, garden walls, garage doors, and timber and UPVC features. One contractor, one price, one visit.
